who comes home for Christmas?? ADVENT

this afternoon - evening will receive many visits, cards, wait ....
In every part of the world, expect something different and equal to the time.
Even in every part of Spain celebrates tonight and Christmas day, with different characters:

But Who actually comes to your house this Christmas?

At home in the small Daniela Elgoibar, waiting with love ...

The Olentzero or Olentzaro is a character Christmas tradition of Basque .
is a coal mythological day brings gifts Christmas in the homes of Navarra, Guipúzcoa , Vizcaya and Álava .
One of the current functions of Olentzero is very similar to that of the Magi or Father Christmas, children write their letters to Olentzero asking for gifts, give them to their parents, and some of these gifts appear at home Christmas morning.

My little cousins Vikings Ivar and Elva Swedish candle lit, dreams, tonight, waiting ...

At Tomte (also known as Nisse)
were little gnomes who kept on family farms.
Normal
The Tomte, Jultomten, Julnisse and Joulupukki,
Santa differ in many respects.
Most
notable is that they are fat and
but can drive a sled, this does not fly. Do not live in the North Pole, children are told to live in the forest.
My German friends want forward to being parents to talk to their children ...
Belsnickel, a character that is usually associated as a strong figure in some regions is also known for giving gifts. In Germany, for example, children 'that well-behaved 'are sweets and small gifts on December 6, the feast day of St. Nicholas. Naughty children, however, receive a carbon or, in some places, the same Belsnickel visit to give a warning.

I receive one day the Nadal in Catalonia?
Caganet Not only is your Belen, right nen? In homes Catalan ...

Nadal's uncle
Before Christmas given to "eat" every night to a tree, and usually cover with a blanket to keep you cool at night. On Christmas Day or, as the house,
during eve, put the fire uncle.
A trunk which, when burned, was so precious goods
as heat and light, and symbolically offered
present at the house, candy, wafers, nougat.

In the squares and Italian markets ....
Today I fear the witches ...
La Befana is a witch who has become a large part of Christmas celebrations in Italy. The most popular version of history is that it was a woman kind that gave food and shelter to the three Magi on their way to visit the infant Jesus.

But most important is that today, Christians, we remember being born, a baby as small as any other, but gave us something as big as the LOVE that we all like to give at this time.

Colors Good With Red Floor

Guadalajara Time moves!!

Apparently not. But Guadalajara with about eighty thousand inhabitants, and provincial capital 40 minutes from Madrid, it moves.

seems incredible to see tourists with map in hand, asking for hidden gems like "The Chinese room" Palace of the Gossip or paintings by El Greco exhibition at the Palace of the Infantry.
seems that being Alcalá Henares so close (city of culture par excellence) and also Madrid, Alcarrian get bored here.

But if we go out to enjoy our city is that we do not feel like it ... not for lack of supply.

This morning, reading the newspaper El Pais Guide Weekend, in Number 232, see the publication of gastronomic days in my city.

Recipes and restaurants with dishes to taste rather than between scenes Guadalajara Tenorio of Mendocino, said party of regional interest in Castilla la Mancha.
To enjoy the sweet taste and after exposure or after one of the calls for the County Council in the fall program.

So if the locals are able to overcome laziness to come to the provinces, the rain and cold, why not us?

Certainly during my days of practice in a hotel, I discover that they're much more of us think, that we want to know, come to bed to eat and enjoy with us. Awaken

this cultural city that sometimes seems asleep!!
us look for treasures!

Anyone want a visit? I know the best guides!

Cakes For. Hair Stylist

A Fall is here. To come to school, back to work goodbye to parties and walks on the beach at sunset ...

have arrived film evenings in the afternoon ... popcorn and nuts.
My first cultural activity to return to Guadalajara, from my dear waters of the Mar Menor, and from my summer cinema and my terrace on the promenade, was a movie night in the gardens of the public library in my town, near a friend.

A movie night with some cold and with a flick of travel: 55 Days at Peking.
This past Friday I went to the movies, a movie theater closed, indoor, living room with adolescents who never stopped talking, and a handful of popcorn to share.
The film, the latest from Woody Allen.

expected something more ... no ... what else but something ... of course you always expect something else when you expect to meet the man in your life and you realize you're wearing a few years ... without knowing men, who are not committed or prohibited and at least are men in your life, not just men in one night .... But back to the movies ...

We still have an entire film festival Solidario in Guadalajara, FESCIGU called, throughout this week to at least go to the movies, alone or accompanied by a man .... but no man can be of my life ... Although it may that man in my life I know .... like in the movie Woodies one afternoon when an old lady sitting in a park, or in another life ... but then, it will not be able to be a mother .. .
But that's another story ... movie.
Paradise is a dream, without beginning or end. 550

SUMMER FILM athlete

was the last weekend and did not return to while almost 20 years.

popcorn, moon in the background, children, families and a dangerous dog to open his mouth to speak ....
summer cinema, double session for 6 Euros and two feature film, not bad for times of crisis.
summer cinema at the beach or in town, brings back memories of innocence, pipes first taste of kisses ... I loved
return to a summer movie.
And I loved that it was not a movie based on a book, because normally they say tend to destroy or at least more understandable.

A good summer book for those evenings by the sea, not coming from me this wrong. Some books
a tough guy, a type of sea and land battlefields and sharp pen, an uncle of the earth: Arturo Perez Reverte

Blisters With The Nicotine Patch?

A. Perez Reverte, the CV

the tuenti Miro, and I am one of the multiple events .... Of these with thousands of people going and going .... that perhaps hundreds
This actually had these numbers of people .... Just about to dispose
I decided to open and read
And heaven an article from the master of the pen, Arturo Perez Reverte.

In many years, if ... but today more relevant than ever ...
Just today I asked a travel agency and let my CV.
A CV like that kid from the pack.
A curriculum that can be in English, French or English, but that will end in a drawer when not in the trash, and not because it is bad, but because the small and medium businesses can not afford to pay you and the great entrepreneur does not but you recognize you daddy's boy.

Thanks Arturo. Anyway ire
leaving my CV through drawers and spending a few euros to print.
This event if it was worth, thanks Marian.

Arturo Perez Reverte: The Weekly, February 9, 2003

THE BAG AND THE CURRICULUM.

rains at times, and Madrid's cold and dreary.

umbrella pass across the window of the library of my friend Antonio Mendez, the bookseller in the High Street. We are there to talk, smoking a cigarette, surrounded by books as Alberto, the employee thin, tall and quiet, he has not read a novel in my life and intend to - "or lack that makes me" bastard grunts usually order the latest news. In those comes a young man with a backpack, and stays a bit apart, the timid, waiting for Antonio and I make a pause in the conversation.

Finally, in a low voice, asks Antonio if he can leave a resume. Sure, replied the bookseller. Leave it. And then the boy out of the bag a bundle of pages, each with their passport photo stapled, and gives him one. Thank you very much, he mutters, just as shy as before. If ever has work for me, begins to say. Then shut up. Smile a little, puts everything back in the pack and goes outside in the rain. Antonio looks at me seriously. Come by the dozen, he says. Boys and girls. Each with its curriculum. And you can not imagine what level. Graduates in this and that, courses abroad, language. And look. You have to fuck.

I catch the folio of the hand. Fulano de Tal, born in 1976. Degree in History, courses of this and the other in Paris and Italy. Three languages. Places, companies, dates. Trash count to seven papers, from those of three or six months and then to the street. I look at the passport photograph, a sketch of a smile, look confident, perhaps in hope. Then I look across the window, but the young man has disappeared from the umbrella in the rain. Will, I suppose, going into other shops, bookstores or wherever, pulling his moving resume of the pack. I return the paper to Antonio, who shrugs, helpless, and stores it in a drawer. He recently had to lay off an employee, unable to pay two salaries as is the patio. Before you close the drawer, I can see more pictures of card stapled to pages: boys and girls with the same look and smile at the same point borrárseles mouth.

Spain goes well and all that, I think. The whore Spain.

Suddenly

sadness as I slid into cold drops, and the day becomes more bleak and gray. What are we doing with them, damn it. With these guys. Antonio looks at me and lights another cigarette. I know you think so. What are we making all these young people of the pack, which after the illusion of studies and career, following the dreams and efforts, they are walking the streets delivering curriculum in which leave the last remnants of hope or a degree in History as it is, eight years of GBS, five vocational training courses, personal and family sacrifices to learn languages in schools that fail and leave you lying after paying tuition.

Helplessness, traps, rat-sac, unscrupulous employers squeeze you before you back to the street, politicians who look the other way or decorating beautiful, unions with more than demagoguery and idleness shame. Jobs

garbage, unemployment garbage, trash resumes.

And when the miracle occurs, the requirement is that you're ready for anything:

shop bitch, bitch, business and mouth closed to survive until they get kicked out, and if you have a nice ass, to be possible, let the boss as sovereign. Partiendo over and over again from scratch. Labor flexibility. Damn it. Euphemism and how much shit. Let's see what happens when so much bent, broken siding and go all to hell, and instead of resumes what that guy be carried in a backpack Molotov cocktails.
